"Property was nice , furniture could use replacing in the living room. Bed was comfortable and room was nice. Kitchen was very well equipped. Shower was adequate but toilet could use some attention, it took forever to fill after a flush. All and all a nice stay."

"My son and I stayed here for three nights and we were pleasantly surprised at how large, how clean and how everything was just so new and well-stocked! Warm shower, very comfortable bed and a nice pull out bed with a mattress topper. The property was very clean and the area was very quiet and peaceful. We met Jiri, the host, and he was very nice and easy to talk to. We will definitely be staying here again in the future! Thank you for a great experience!"

"Honestly, one of the best vacation rental experiences. This place is ideal for a travelling couple. Spotlessly clean, totally equipped with everything, including fresh coffee for the coffee maker and refreshing cold drinks on our arrival. The owner, Monty, is a lovely and thoughtful person. I don’t think the photos do justice to the space. It is much roomier with lots of light from the windows. The bedroom is a separate room adjoining the living room next to a large and well equipped kitchen with lots of counter space. Bathroom off the living room and washer and drier in a closet near the entrance. You do need a car to get to and from, and the parking is dedicated to the apartment and spacious. Comfy and really a great experience."

"Ruth’s suite was a truly wonderful place; beautiful, impeccably clean, and boasts fantastic views. It really is a hidden gem and so aptly named “Scenery & Serenity”—it gave us the perfect peaceful getaway. We had such a lovely time and definitely appreciated the nice surprises 🤗 We highly recommend this place! Thank you Ruth for your wonderful hospitality!"
A quiet, private suite overlooking a quaint lake

"Before we arrived, Doug sent us clear directions to the accommodation and shared some great tips on activities and things to do in the area.We travelled with our six-year-old doodle, and being dog people, we loved being greeted by Doug’s two Bernese Mountain Dogs when we arrived! Doug showed us around the accommodation, explained everything we needed to know, and was very warm and welcoming. The dogs got along wonderfully, and our kids especially enjoyed spending time with them.The accommodation itself was very clean, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful greenery with a lovely view of the lake below.We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend Doug’s place, especially for families travelling with a dog. We would happily stay here again!"

"This suite was the perfect location to explore the island by car. The unit had everything we needed and more. Check-in and check-out was seamless as Melissa & Nyle provided clear instructions well ahead of our stay. The space was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully furnished. There were nice touches such as water bottles and charging cables on the night stand, and some toiletries in case you forgot anything. There was a good selection of teas and Nespresso coffee pods. You can tell a lot of thought was put into making this a comfortable space. There is also a park with a short trail nearby. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This is the most amazing place and the host is the best I have dealt with in years. I can't say enough to how helpful see was, when we thought our trip was going to be cut short due to a cancelled flight. She went out of her way to put our mind at rest and assured us no to worry. The communication was fast, accurate and very helpful. The place is small but an excellent use of the space for a couple to relax and enjoy the area. The location is central to Langford and Sooke and only a few extra minutes to Victoria. The thought and care put into making the guest stay is incredible. You are able to practice your putting all night long and then drive a few minutes to the local golf course. The cleanliness of this place is impeccable. I could not believe how shiny and clean the marble tiles were in the bathroom. One look inside and you can tell the place is clean and well looked after. Feel free to book this property with confidence and know you will be dealing with a host that will go out of her way to make your stay perfect. You will not regret it.Glen Porter"
