"Our stay at the Julian was excellent! The rooms were spacious and clean. There was minimal wear and tear in the rooms but generally, it was a good place to stay. I enjoyed their onsite restaurant/bar along with their complimentary wine hour. Staff was helpful and very nice. The location is also good, located near many places to eat and drink."

"Decent hotel in a very convent location for many downtown SF attractions. The hotel is on a quiet street but close to the Tenderloin and Polk street actions. Customer Service was nice and average, rooms were clean and simple, and the hotel seemed to be well maintained. I liked being able to open the windows for fresh air. Parking can be difficult but there are garages nearby."

"Honestly I am impressed with this hotel! Clean, newly painted, nice decore, fairly quiet location with shops all around in an inclusive environment. Theres even a burger joint on the property that has killer burgers and tots! For being SF, the price is reasonable. Oh! And parking is included!!!!"

"It’s in a hilly area, but near the Painted Ladies and in walking distance of Golden Gate Park. Nice places to eat nearby. Cafe du Soleil is great for breakfast and has very nice staff. Try Copra for a unique dining experience. On the downside, the hotel doesn’t have an elevator."
