Clean, quiet room. Loved the vintage feel of the room. Hotel conveniently located with restaurants near. Only frustration was one working elevator and it was slow. Everything else was wonderful.

This is a great hotel! Really well placed for transport links - buses, cable cars and trams. Room was very large, bed really comfortable. Very handy info guide at check-in that highlights local places to eat and drink. Pinecrest Diner is diagonally opposite and is great! I travelled as a solo female and felt safe at all times. Highly recommend!

Clean quiet rooms in a central part of the city. One elevator was out of service the entire week we were there, so all 12 floors shared one 6-person vintage elevator, which was definitely slow at times. Walkable, near so many transit options. The italian restaurant attached/next door was great!

The hotel is nicely appointed in a retro style that is cool and understated. Staff have a friendly, helpful vibe and the restaurant in the lobby has a friendly bar and good food. As a single senior woman traveling solo I felt safe and relaxed.

Neat hotel that's shares a door with a restaurant next door. It was great to be able to have dinner next door and not have to go out in the cold to get back to our room. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was great and make it easy to check in and out without any issues. They also provided a coupon to get a discount on a drink but we didn't end up using it but definitely a nice little perk. I would definitely stay here again!

Got upgraded to a larger room and a free glass of wine for being an Expedia VIP. First time any hotel has honored that. Location was perfect, close to shops. Easy bus ride to Fisherman’s Wharf and Chinatown. Parking was a bit expensive, but it worked out since we were close to everything we wanted to see so didn’t have to pay for parking there. Breakfast was decent and they gave free vouchers. Staff was very helpful.

Hotel is stylish & fun. Very clean. Bathroom was small, due to being in historic building. Speakeasy fun, & breakfast better than most(& complimentary!) Very kind staff. Excellent location for walking to MOMA, theaters, shops & restaurants.
