"Very disappointed. The hotel asked, prior to my stay, if I had any requests. One that was offered was a room that was quiet (away from the street, etc.) and I asked for a quiet room..."quiet would be nice." The first morning I was awakened by several workers who were doing something in an adjacent room. They were extremely loud and this went on for several hours. I checked out that night...a day and a half early. "

"The check-in process was effortless, setting a positive tone for the stay. While the room was compact, it comfortably met my needs. The bed was noisy. An iron was available, though an ironing board was not provided. The showerhead offered a waterfall-like experience, which was refreshing. The continental breakfast was a thoughtful touch, though there's room for improvement. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with a welcoming atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind is the outside noise—if your room faces the street, be prepared for some sounds. Its location is conveniently near a major landmark, but the area also has a noticeable homeless presence. Despite this, it’s a place that feels authentic and full of character. "

"This was our first time staying here. We usually stay at a neighboring property. I will say this much…WE WILL BE STAYING HERE FROM NOW ON! The staff was incredible. The hotel is incredible and the amenities cleanliness, and just general smell of the hotel with its diffuser and fresh flowers was obsession worthy. The only thing that we had to complain about was the Internet being very spotty and our TV not working. When you’re on vacation, the two teas have to work the toilet and the TV. So that was our only complaint. But, they did send up staff and engineer immediately to try to help us with the situation."

"This is a 1 star hotel that advertises as a 4 star. They only had 1 working elevator and only allowed 5 people at a time on it. Evidently, the other 3 elevators have been down for several weeks. The rooms are bare bones. No lamps, stains on carpet, lights are all on timers, and barely any furniture in them. They have a bar space in the lobby area, but the hours of operation are sporadic and the role the booze out on a cart when they do decide to open it. I would not recommend this hotel at all. "

"I’ll take the hit for not better preparing myself for the terrible parking situation. For those that haven’t been in downtown San Francisco in a while it’s as disgusting and urine filled as ever. I wasn’t excited about the $40 tourism charge upon check-in even though I had prepaid on Expedia. And the staff said that it was a $20 overnight parking fee…… It was over double that…… the room was clean for the most part except underneath the bed was absolutely disgusting, and I only knew about that because one of my kids toys rolled underneath there. The continental breakfast was absolutely terrible. If you show up anytime after eight, don’t expect there to be anything. I do not recommend anybody stay here."
