This gorgeous three-storey property is in Hayle, a UNESCO world heritage site on the edge of St Ives Bay. It is surrounded by three miles of sandy beaches, one of which has been voted best beach in the UK by The Times making it the ideal choice for friends or families looking for an active seaside holiday. Hayle is a surfing and windsurfing hotspot and is great for swimming and days on the beach. A paradise for nature lovers and bird watchers, the RSPB manages the estuary.
This beautiful wharf house is immaculately decorated and styled, offering a superior and unforgettable holiday. The ground floor has a family bathroom and two bedrooms - a super-king-size bedroom with a four-poster bed, an en suite shower, harbour views, a Smart TV, and a private balcony with seating and a twin. The first floor boasts an open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a Smart TV, double-height ceilings, and seamless bi-folding glass doors that open onto a balcony with harbour views and a seating area. The contemporary kitchen has everything you need to make meal preparation a cinch. A third king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room is on a private mezzanine level, which overlooks the living space. Although there is no outside area, you can walk along the quay towards nearby Hayle Beach, which is less than a mile away.
The famous seaside town of St Ives, where you can visit the beaches, Tate St Ives or enjoy plenty of fresh local seafood, is 5.5 miles. For a day away from the beach, families should head to Paradise Park and Jungle Barn, where there is something for all ages between the wildlife sanctuary, gardens and indoor children’s play area. Walkers will love having access to the South West Coast Path to enjoy sparkling coastal views or, if you want, take a picnic, climb Trencrom Hill (4 miles) and enjoy the views of the north and south coast from the top.
