Denali Hideaway is located a half mile off of the Parks Highway, nestled in the small town of Healy, just 11 miles north of Denali National Park. Built by a talented local carpenter, this breathtaking, beautiful Alaskan home is an excellent retreat after a long day of adventuring in Alaska's Interior.

Our two bedroom, one bathroom residence is attached, yet private, with an entrance of its own. It comfortably sleeps four with a queen bed and two twin beds, full bath, living room with a mini-fridge, microwave and other small kitchen appliances to make your stay more enjoyable. The home's original owner and master craftsman took precise care in the building of the entire home - including crafting all of the home's ceilings, support beams and intricacies.

Located in Healy, there are a variety of restaurants, a local brewery, a small convenience store, a quaint local coffee shop, an Alaskan lake and many local trails. For more entertainment, restaurants and activities, simply drive 11 miles to just outside the entrance to Denali National Park. This bustling tourist hub, known to locals as "Glitter Gulch", is home to dozens of restaurants, nightly shows, several gift shops as well as your gateway to many more adventurous activities.

We had a great stay at Denali Hideaway! Convenient location (15 min to Denali NP), with dining options nearby. Kami is one of the most generous hosts in our experience with vacation rentals - more coffee than we could ever drink in a 2 day stay, plenty of towels, bug spray and even bear spray. The unit was clean and spacious. Kids enjoyed playing Jenga & Uno and we loved all the national park touches (down to the Kleenex boxes!). She’s really thought of everything. Kami was also very responsive & proactive with communications. We would absolutely stay here again if we plan another Denali trip!

A GREAT location in Healy!

This property is off the highway and in the bush … awesome! We loved the apartment and the location! We were a short drive to Denali! The building is amazing construction and the suite was very comfortable! A wonderful experience all round! Would stay again in a second!

Perfect location when visiting Denali National park. The place was very cozy and clean perfect for my famliy stay. Cami was very thoughtful and made our stay wonderful. Bouns got to see the northen lights right outside the driveway. Was amazing.

Everything about this stay was great. Kami went above and beyond to communicate and accommodate. The “hideaway” was perfect for me and my wife on this trip, but definitely roomy enough we would bring our two teens next time. Proximity to Denali and amenities is perfect. Highly recommend!

Great overnight stop from Anchorage to Fairbanks. Clean, warm and cozy. Perfect size for me, my spouse and 2 teenaged grandchildren. Enjoyed the available board games. Will definitely want to visit in the Spring when we can stay longer.

This unit was perfect for our needs. Super clean, comfortable had all we wanted, and host was very responsive! The architecture was impressive. Location awesome for access to national Park!We visited in shoulder season, early April and many local restaurants not open yet, but we had options.As noted in property description, it's a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. No opportunity to cook dinner. Every thing you might need for breakfast and making sandwiches for lunch to take on the NP trails is available. Plan on dinner out. Local options even off season.Bottom line, very pleased with our experience, and would highly recommend Denali Hideaway

Cozy cabin in Healy

The cabin was easy to find and located conveniently in town - a few minutes drive to restaurants and coffee shops. Very cozy and warm, and lovingly decorated - lots of plants! Love the multiple windows letting in sun. There's a small window conveniently located above the bed and we peeked out of it periodically at night to check for the aurora (luck was not with us this time). Host was very kind and helpful. Highly recommend. Would stay again.

perfect stay

My two friends and I booked this stay to be close to Denali during the winter season when the resorts were closed. This little home is very convenient to get to Denali - about 15 min drive away. It is cozy and full of blankets, towels and charm. There is also complimentary coffee and tea, board games, TV. Everything is so thoughtful! Just no kitchen. Communication with Kami is super clear and fast. Check-in was easy too.
