"We routinely stay in Pacific Grove but deviated north to Petaluma to visit a sister. Found dog friendly reasonably priced Metro within walking distance from Petaluma's colorful downtown. Got a queen room which, despite being rather small with a few very tiny tables and a very large TV, worked out perfectly for us. There wasn't a fridge or microwave, however ice and a hot water dispenser were in the lobby at the bohemian coffee counter. (bring an ice chest) The young smiling host was genuinely pleasant and helpful, the premises quiet, and secure parking just 50 feet away. We will return and perhaps, depending on the price, check into an Airstream."

"Overall, a great place to stay if you have a family that goes to sleep early. The backyard was fantastic. There was no place to hang your clothes as every closet was locked or full of the owners clothes. There were cobwebs in the kitchen and other areas inside."

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. The beds were comfortable and cozy with two different styles of pillows to choose from and soft sheets. The bath towels were nice to use as they were very absorbent. The bathroom was stocked with items you may have forgotten to bring. The kitchen was very well stocked, down to a mix of chocolate chip cookies and a few condiments in the fridge. The neighborhood was quiet and the walk to a commercial area with places to eat was enjoyable. The host was in contact with us via the app, but we didn’t need a thing. I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area."

"The rooms were very clean and nicely organized. The kitchen had many condiments that would be needed to prepare food and the refrigerator was full size. We appreciated the washer and dryer and enjoyed spending time in the mornings and evenings on the balcony outside the door. The Peets coffee pods were greatly appreciated for relaxing mornings. The lighting in the bathroom is challenging for putting on makeup and shaving we noted. While the listing notes it is within walking distance from downtown, we found that it would have been quite a long hike to do so, measuring it at over a mile, so we drove to downtown Petaluma. Parking was a little tight as it is street parking and most spaces were taken."

"This cottage was perfect for our weekend stay. It’s within walking distance to downtown and easy access to Pt. Reyes and the coast. Fiona was a wonderful host and was very communicative before our stay. The cottage is well-appointed with plenty of room to move around and relax. And the bedroom had a ceiling fan which we really appreciated as it was really hot when we were there and this helped keep the room comfortable at night,"
