"We routinely stay in Pacific Grove but deviated north to Petaluma to visit a sister. Found dog friendly reasonably priced Metro within walking distance from Petaluma's colorful downtown. Got a queen room which, despite being rather small with a few very tiny tables and a very large TV, worked out perfectly for us. There wasn't a fridge or microwave, however ice and a hot water dispenser were in the lobby at the bohemian coffee counter. (bring an ice chest) The young smiling host was genuinely pleasant and helpful, the premises quiet, and secure parking just 50 feet away. We will return and perhaps, depending on the price, check into an Airstream."

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. The beds were comfortable and cozy with two different styles of pillows to choose from and soft sheets. The bath towels were nice to use as they were very absorbent. The bathroom was stocked with items you may have forgotten to bring. The kitchen was very well stocked, down to a mix of chocolate chip cookies and a few condiments in the fridge. The neighborhood was quiet and the walk to a commercial area with places to eat was enjoyable. The host was in contact with us via the app, but we didn’t need a thing. I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area."
