"We were lucky enough to stay with the athletes for the Commonwealth Games.
As part of the VIP we had access to the lounge, unfortunately they didn't have any child's drinks other than water and no allergen friendly snacks in here. Plus they removed the TV so we couldn't watch the games from the lounge and instead had to watch it in Reception.
The room was clean, however for a room to fit four people there was not enough storage space or chairs. We couldn't put our clothes anywhere for our long stay.
The fridge was also not cold in our room and bottled water not replenished every day.
We received vouchers for drinks due to our room not being ready until 4.30pm, however this didn't benefit us as we didn't use the restaurant in our stay.
A nice hotel and room for improvement. VIP area was not worth it on this occasion."
