"This is a gorgeous place to stay! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, the property is impeccable and superbly located on the Necker a few minutes walk from the Alte Brücke. My room was a single on the top floor, small but more than adequate for a single guest, charmingly decorated, with a skylight window and a small (and useful) fridge was included. I didn’t try the breakfast but I will next trip, as I will surely return to this jewel of a hotel! "

Please note, some of the rooms only have a window to an indoor hallway and not the outdoors. I apparently unknowingly signed up for such a room. When I raised it with hotel staff, they quickly gave me a different room with windows to the outdoors. However, I was lucky they had such a room available as the hotel is very popular."
