Lovely Pub with Great Accommodation
Our stay at the Holly Bush Inn was fabulous. Very warm welcome, our room was lovely, located in a cottage next to the Inn. Very comfortable and quiet. Dinner at the Inn was great - plenty of choice and food was good, service excellent. Our dog was made very welcome too. Breakfast was superb and set us up for our onward journey. We would have no hesitation in recommending Holly Bush Inn or visiting again in the future.

I ordered a deluxe room and the bed was a small double. The mattress was really uncomfortable and my boyfriend was bitten. We looked at the wafer thin duvet and it was brown. Not good.

Great little find
What a fantastic stay we had at the Holly Bush Inn. We stayed with our dog and we were all made to feel really welcome. Delicious dinner made by their talented chef and breakfast set us up perfectly for the day. Thank you to everyone. We hope to come back and explore more of the area.

Lovely little hotel. Very friendly staff & lovely clean rooms. Second time staying here. Unfortunately our room was located above the bar & it was noisy - I was actually ill also & was difficult trying to sleep with the additional noise from down stairs. Food was good and breakfast service was excellent. Husband impressed with range of ales he could try at the bar.

Small pub/hotel. Good location for Kielder
Lovely friendly staff with great food. Had to wait for our dinner order though. This was only an issue as we were booked into Kielder observatory for a given time. Otherwise would have been very happy to sit and sample local beer.

Very comfortable, few bugs about but pretty clean. Booked a table at the bar, but they put us outside in the cold tent, they decided later we could comein to eat. Not a greatway to treat a pregnant guest.

Great little pub with extremely friendly staff. Food was excellent and to a high quality, but no lunch time food served. The room we had was the Green Room and it was very clean and comfortable. We are hoping to book again later in the year

Very pleasant stay in a lovely old inn, with a good selection of cask ales.staff were efficient and very helpfull which made our experience enjoyable. Friendly locals in the bar alwsys up for a chat also.

2 nights stay.
We were here for 2 nights to attend a wedding at Le Petite Chateau. Staff were very welcoming, bedroom was basic and shower in need of updating but very clean. Breakfast was lovely, staff very helpful and friendly. It was great for our short stay and well priced.

One night stopover
Great little find in the middle of nowhere! Ideal for Kielder Observatory which is why we stayed. Our room was The Pink Room. Small and on the basic side but perfect for us. Bed was a comfortable double, although a slightly bigger bed would have been more comfortable. Room was cosy and warm. As the room was upstairs the ceilings slope a little bit so if you are tall , like me, you will have to duck. Breakfast was included and was delicious . Food is served at lunch and dinner but we didn't have a chance to try it. The menu looked good though. Would certainly return if we are in the area again.

Lovely property in a quiet village setting. Room was very clean and cosy. Staff were very friendly and the bar area was great with open fire. Had meal one night which was nice but service was slow. We would definitely recommend staying here. Its the perfect location for accessing kielder and otterburn.
