Perfect for a family getaway

Nicely appointed, plenty of room for 8 adults, 3 teens and 2 toddlers. We really enjoyed the back deck. It was nice having the downstairs for the teens. It is close to all we needed and had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. We get together in various places once a year and this was probably the best houses we have stayed in as far as the layout goes and the cleanliness.

Perfect for a big family!

We had two families from Indians and three families from South Carolina meet up to spend time together. House was perfect! Big, clean and spacious. Outdoor area is amazing, the views are fantastic! We definitely enjoyed our time together ;)

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much! It was the first time us and our kids and grands stayed under one roof longer then one day. Your placed met all our needs. Plenty of dishes , pots and pans . Also plenty of space for a family of 13. The view was pretty . Thank you for having auch an inviting and comfortable space.

The house had a nook for every member of our family. The kids enjoyed the yard while the adults overlooked their activities from the upper deck. The kitchen was well equipped. We had an issue with the air conditioner and the property manager sent someone very quickly after we called. We are already looking to book next year!

Family Vacation 2023

We booked this trip as a family reunion. Some family joined us from NY and some family from Florida. We had an incredible time. The home is set up perfectly for families and children. My one year old and her two cousins (2 and 4) loved the play room downstairs. Each family had their own bathroom when they visited which was very convenient. We loved being able to lounge in two separate living rooms, and the patio was so comfortable. The only negative thing was the garbage pickup. Throughout the week, we had a lot of family visiting, BBQ’s, dirty diapers, etc. There were also a lot of sugar ants in the kitchen. These minor inconveniences made for slight annoyances but nothing the view can’t fix. Watching the sunset each night was the most incredible sight.

The property was very spacious as advertised and generally in good condition. It would have been helpful to have an additional roll of paper towels, enough dishwasher detergent for at least one load a day, and a couple extra trash bags for a full week booking. The power went off the first evening, and the property manager responded to my questions with some attitude "I don't work for the power company" and would only say that she would let the owner know, but would not say that she would get back to me. Fortunately, it only lasted a few hours and she did fairly quickly text me the outage notice from the power company.

Wonderful Get-Away

The house was perfect for a girls trip to play bridge, shop, eat and relax. The home is well-equipped, the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room. I highly recommend this place for a vacation with friends or family.

Beautiful Mountain View from porch

Everything in this Hiawassee home was great. There was 6 dear friends exploring the north Georgia Mountains, and rack of us had plenty of room in this large house. We played card games and ate dinner on the beautiful side porch. We really enjoyed building z campfire and roasting marshmallows and sharing funny stories. The location was perfect for our day trips

The property was exactly as described and pictured. The entire house was decorated for Christmas fantastically. We had the best stay we have ever had. There is always a little draw back or two, but nothing that doesn't happen at any place that size. The host communicated with us quickly for any questions we had before and during our stay.

Family Reunion

We chose this house because it was close to our parent's home in Murphy, NC, but large enough to accommodate our entire family. House was spacious and clean and location was perfect. Many of our family commented it was the best view they'd ever seen in a rental cabin and we captured some of most beautiful sunsets from that back porch. Lots of basketball, cornhole and football played in the back yard and tons of memories made over the long weekend.
