Spacious, modern rooms, very clean. Receptionist made a cup of tea for me on arrival, which is a very nice, personal touch. My room had a big balcony. Little beach just opposite of the property (divided by busy road) with the most stunning views of the Auckland skyline. Restaurants and bars about a 10 minute walk away. Shakespear regional park a 15 minute drive away.

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS - a beautiful designer hotel with a soul, purpouse and a wonderful team of dedicated staff. EVERYTHING was perfect. The Hotel Britomart is now no. 1 on my world's hotel experiences list.

Beautiful spot in very close proximity to lake Taupo enabling us to wander down to the lake in a few minutes for a swim we had a lovely balcony with views of the lake Great facilities including washing machines and fryo
