It was very easy booking and finding the place, great communication and a basic but perfectly functional room which had everything that I needed.

Under the beds were full of rubbish and the bedside drawers had lots of open half eaten crisps and chocolate in them and the fridge what’s the point the tv is in the way of being able to open the fridge door so you can’t put anything in it anyway

Hotel wasnt very nice the mattress to bed was uncomfortable the springs had gone on it it was dirty and toilet and washroom facilities were absolutely terrible

The property was decent value for money, with basic facilities but all you need a nights sleep, with tv and welcome tea/coffee facilities. The only issue was the communication of check in arrangements, as the listed expedia telephone number was wrong and the property were slow to provide information after ignoring my email. The road outside was rather noisy as it was necessary to leave the window open as it was warm when we stayed.

Get what you pay for, minus a kettle
Room was basic, but spotlessly clean. TV remote didn't work, and there was no kettle for a morning brew despite an empty mug and tea/coffee being in the room. Spoke to the guy in the cafe about it, but it was never resolved. Shower room was clean. Super cheap rates, so wasn't expecting The Ritz. No wifi signal so be prepared to use your data. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Pay for what you get… Cheap room, so just a crash pad. Unfortunately my room was at the back of the building where the exit was, for which I had people out early hours out smoking and coughing and waking me up all hours. Not a good experience 😞

Check in was via a phone call, I never saw anyone. I was shocked at the fact that in the room leads were everywhere for the TV and the light. In the side board were blue paper towels from the toilets. The toilets and showers were shared and whilst clean had marks and mould. Tea and coffee was provided but no details of how to get more if I ran out. I booked with a 1 year old and no cot was provided. Thankfully I took my own. There was no security, the main door was open all the time. There were no details for check out and so ended up just leaving.

Clean comfortable bed good shower. A little tatty could do with a lick of paint. Overall you get what you pay for and i was quite satisfied good base for exploring for solo travellers.

I have stayed there for 3 weeks and my rooms have got smaller and smaller. The last room was so small when lying on the bed my head touched 1 wall and my feet the other The matresses have also beme worse as the weeks have gone on. My 1st room had a fridge my last room did not.

This B and B is not the cleanest or modernist in beds , noise or actual space transference or facilities .It is a head down worker accommodation with a lot of needed updating to enable the hard overworked worked staff to feel confident and be operate better .The owner needs to invest and maintain better but ,as a last minute gamble , fine,more a lorry drivers stop over than a guests house pleasure however a good price if sleep not to important .

The property was very basic, however the room was clean and perfect for what I needed it for. Facilities were very basic and after hours the toilet paper ran out due to the property having a shared bathroom and there didn’t seem to be anywhere to get more. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Food was good too

has to be experienced.
oh my, where do i start. its the bates motel, or perhaps a setting for an episode of scooby doo, the creepy abandoned motel, either way this is either to be avoided or perhaps experienced just once so you can remember how bad motels used to be... i turned up before 7pm and the place was in darkness, rang a number i eventually found on a tiny card in the window of the (closed) cafe and was eventually directed to walk round the back, go up the stairs and lift the doormat, under it were several envelopes with names on, one of which was mine, in it was the room key. on leaving the next day, i had to post the key through the letterbox of the cafe, there were no instructions to do so. the place was quiet, and it wasnt cold, beds felt like sleeping on a pile of springs, and creaked accordingly, room contained a cupboard which was unlocked, on opening it i found the sites cctv system, and it hummed all night long. fortunately it was really really cheap, but id not go again unless i was desperate. no idea why there were no staff on site all the time i was there. no breakfast on site, cafe didnt even open on sunday morning. i did half expect to be greeted by norman bates or his mother whenever i opened my door, perhaps that why i decided not to attempt having a shower..... im not saying dont go, its got to be experienced, if only to say you have experienced hotel staying from the 1970's but tbh id have been more comfortable sleeping in my car.
