"Overall a great place to stay if exploring the area. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The large bathroom had a walk-in shower and lovely roll top bath. Very cosy bed and good quality linen. Tea, coffee and water tray provided. Some biscuits would have been nice. Negative was the room was very warm and we could not open windows. Excellent breakfast but limited menu in the evening, for example, no chicken dishes for anyone who doesn’t eat red meat or fish. Deserts not home made and clearly...

"When I went to check in the person behind the counter told me I did not have a reservation. This then began a series of events that caused significant stress. My phone was out of power as was my lap top. I took my lap top to a neighboring hotel where I was able to see I DID have a reservation. That person was not there when I returned but check in was fine. When I eventually saw the person in question he said I must have made the reservation that day with no apology"

"Basic small room with ultra small ensuite on 2nd floor, no lift for heavy luggage. Bed reasonably comfortable although just big enough for two Adults. Sink in Ensuite barley big enough to wash hands and water pressure to high so splashes over floor. Just passable for an overnight stop, but would suggest a larger room if you value space to move freely. Breakfast brought to your room which was a bit of a squeeze but it was cooked well and was thoughly enjoyed."

"Brilliant little place to stay, good for just coming and going when you need without the hassle of keys. Parking was ok outside on the road. Very clean and tidy, just no hot water in the sink tap which was weird as you cant wash unless having a shower but overall great place to stay for a cheap short stay."

"Sue and Graham are such wonderful and welcoming hosts. The property has so much character, well maintained and very clean. Other than the weak wifi connection in the room, everything else was excellent. The breakfast in the morning was a really highlight - great options for vegetarians and pescatarian alike. "The property itself is a bit outdated although the room in which I stayed seemed newly refurbished and I liked it a lot! Even though it was a budget accommodation, it did include ammenities such as coffee, shampoo, shower gel, etc. The wifi was excellent. The neighborhood was conveniently located for my purposes (25-30 minute walk to Cardiff Bay and to downtown Cardiff). The neighborhood was on the residential side so not very lively. I was on the first floor and was able to hear people going...

"We had a fabulous time here - accommodation was spacious and comfortable with all you could wish for. There was nothing we could fault. The little extras that always make a difference were there too - fridge items, milk, butter, also sugar, tea and coffee with all the showers having having all the toiletries you could want.. Lovely host and the horses, dogs and cat were loved by our toddler. Well placed too for getting out and about. Recommend Churchland Farm and the Stable to anyone who wants...
