Great house for a family vacation

Such a lovely home to stay in Highlands!! The mountain and sunset views from the back are amazing. The home is well stocked and very clean. This will be our first choice for staying in the area.

Highlands girls trip

7 of us came in for highlands food & wine and loved the house and location. We were able to walk into town and had everything we needed for a fun, comfortable weekend. Check in was a breeze, would totally stay here again.

Beautiful place!

Perfect place for our family! Beautifully decorated and well stocked! Great appliances! Loved the fireplaces and the sunsets off of the back deck while grilling. Nice town. Had great massages at Zen Spa and great meals at Highland’s Tavern and Madison’s.

Amazing home - Will stay again!

If you haven't been to Highlands, NC, I highly recommend it. And I don't think you can find a better home to stay in. It's perfect for my husband and me, our two grown children and spouses, and two grandchildren (ages 2 and 5). The host was extremely responsive. This home is nicer than my own and has every kitchen item you need to cook meals. It is super close to the downtown and beautiful waterfalls.

Awesome place for family weekend!

We had an awesome time at this property! The kitchen is stacked with cooking utensils and pots and pans, which was a relief because we did lots of cooking as a family. Also, it's not clear from the pictures but each bedroom has their own bathroom. It made for ease in picking rooms. The town center is a 2 min drive and made for easy shopping/morning coffee pick ups. Highly suggest booking!

Mountain slice of paradise!

This beautiful property completely exceeded our expectations in every way! It is even better than the pictures show, with lots of room to gather (inside and out) but plenty of private spaces for parents and teens to just chill. The location is ideal - super quiet, tucked on top of the mountain with amazing views off the gorgeous back deck, but only a few minutes from shopping & restaurants. Everything you could need or want is provided from an extremely well equipped kitchen to firewood for the fireplaces to extremely comfortable beds, linens & luxurious showers. Ben was an excellent host responding immediately to any inquiry. We were even treated to a bear sighting on our drive home one evening! We will absolutely be returning to this slice of paradise!

Awesome time with family in this home.

We are so glad that we chose this home for this family gathering. The place easily handled six adults and an infant. The chefs in the group loved the kitchen. The sleeping accommodations were excellent. But the real star of our stay was the deck and view. Thanks so much to the owner for sharing their special creation.

We loved our stay here! The house is wonderful, and the communication with the owner was very easy. Designed built and decorated by a renowned designer, the house offered a great setting for a peaceful and inspiring getaway. We had a wonderful set up with two houses, and this house was particularly well suited for adults. The other house was perfect for children. So it all worked out great. This house couldn’t have been nicer! We had such a great time! Many thanks to the owner for sharing!

Perfect Location

We loved this property. Perfect amount of room for 6 adults and 1 baby. It was the perfect location- you had beautiful mountain views and were also less than 5 min drive from the Highlands Main Street. You could also walk if you don’t mind very hilly terrain! The house itself is beautiful. We will be back!

Fantastic home!

This is the most beautiful home, exquisitely decorated, extremely comfortable. The porch is fantastic with a glorious sunset view. Wonderful walk to town! Ben is a terrific host, this rental is a GEM!!!
