"The check in process was great.There was 24 hour coffee.Our room was spacious and it had a record player with 3 classic albums...one by Little Feat that we played.There were many other albums available in the living room near the entrance.We were happy to have been able to go on a boat cruise that included dinner and a lovely sunset.There were other nice places to eat.We really enjoyed our one day stay and will come again!"

"We Stayed in a basic two double bed room in the Palmer building. Bed was very comfortable. Room was basic but clean. Hard to judge the value of hotels anymore because they are all overpriced (it was about $300 for a Saturday during fall leaf peeping season). Location was convenient to a few shops and restaurants within our building. We were there on a Saturday and all the resort restaurants were booked with long waits…so plan accordingly if you are going peak season or over a weekend. Beautiful area and a good central location between the coast(Portsmouth about 1hr 20 mins and the famous white mountain(Conway about an hour). Be sure to visit the castle in the clouds which is a short drive and the views at the top are spectacular from both the restaurant and mansion."
