"The hotel is in a very scenic location on a mountain above Zermatt. Transportation was easy with the cable car stop only a five minute walk to the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. We especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the dinner menu options. The family staff were so welcoming and accommodating. My wife has a mobile scooter and they drove us up the mountain after we arrived at the train station in Zermatt and they helped us to the cable car when the road back to Zermatt...

"Super close to the train station, hardly a two minute walk so if you have luggage this is very convenient. The room itself was excellent, newly renovated so very modern new finishes. Clearly though it is meant for winter/ski season. There’s no AC, it was hot but thankfully I could open the window which helped. But if you are light sleeper and sensitive to sounds then this might not be your best option as there is in the heart of the town so lots of people walking around/talking dinning till...

"We actualy were move over to Mont Cervin Palace (Sister property). Wonderful experience. Staff exceptional in every way. Helpfull and friendly. Property: wonderful. Great breakfast and breakfast staff. Pool was very nice. We were primarily hiking in the area so it was nice to have a pool available at the end of a long day in the mountains. Location: centre of the town. Everything is walkable. Loads of pubs and restaurants within a couple of minutes. I recommend and would stay here again."

"Stayed one night here, after 2 nights at the nearby Hotel Parnass. Parnass was much less expensive and a better value. Had a much larger room at Banhof, but unlike Parnass there was no free breakfast (Parnass has a large and excellent breakfast buffet). Also, my shower had a slow drain and very quickly was standing in a couple of inches of water while showering. Otherwise, very comfortable and convenient. Right across the street from the train station, which was especially nice as I left Zermatt...
