Hinton in the Hedges Holidays

This hotel is lovely. The restaurant is 25 floors up, so fantastic view of Birmingham city. The meals/food was brilliant.

Had a great stay at The Grand Hotel. Lovely room, nice bar. Only slight downside was a chaotic breakfast on our second day. Service seemed to be left to one hard working lady and elements of the ‘full English’ had been shown to the grill rather than cooked more fully. In contrast, the previous day’s breakfast had been spot on.

Staff at desk very helpful. Breakfast good quality and quantity. Area around the hotel was a building site. Would like the hotel to have make further help to clients trying to find the way in and having to walk around the whole hotel.

Location a little ay out of the centre away from train station but right next to Snow Hill tram stop meaning transport links are easy and quick, right next to very busy roads/dual carriageway yet we couldn't hear any noise from the roads at all so excellent double glazing. 1 bedroom with sofa bed was well appointed but quite small. We are used to having the place a little bigger but that said, it had everything you needed so this wasn't a big issue. Had a great view overlooking St Chads cathedral and the cityscape on the seventh floor. One issue we had was there is a significant noise occurrence that happenings often in the middle of the night - I thought it was flooding at one point as tyou can hear the flow and dripping of quite large amounts of water from through the air conditioning vents in the bedroom ceiling.
