"A Cozy Gem in the Heart of Key West The Garden House is a lovely, cozy hotel located in the Historic District of Key West. We spent six days here and really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic and everything is within easy walking distance. The breakfast was amazing! We had made-to-order waffles almost every morning by Sammy, who was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, welcoming, and really made our mornings special. We also loved the fresh fruit with Cool Whip—it’s something we’re definitely going to miss! I’d also like to mention Dawson, who was working a couple of the days we were there. He was very helpful and made sure we had what we needed. One thing we really liked about this hotel is that they don’t automatically clean your room every day. We actually preferred this. If you need fresh towels or supplies, you can simply ask in the morning, and they are happy to provide them. We also really liked the keyless entry. Since we were out on the water almost every day, it was so convenient not having to worry about carrying a room key or figuring out where to keep it while swimming and snorkeling. The only thing I would mention—and it’s really more of a minor inconvenience than a negative—is that our shower in Room 10 didn’t have anywhere to keep shampoo or soap. It looked like there may have once been a small shelf or holder there that had broken and just hadn’t been replaced. Other than that, we had no complaints. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay."
