"Positives: The apartment was easy to book, in a convenient location. It had comfortable beds, comfortable sitting and dining areas and a suitable kitchen. We were able to collect our key late at night. Negatives: The heating did not work so we were always cold, the hot water ran out on the only full day of our visit, so we could not shower. "Nice balcony, which I couldn't use because smoking was apparently allowed and the cigarette smoke spread to my balcony and into the room when my neighbor smoked on his balcony! Strange that, in 2025, smoking is still allowed in the hotel."

"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms.
