Great place to stay
We spent three nights in Aurora Cabins. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, well equipped, located in amazing , quiet location. We'd highly recommend and will definitely book again next time in Iceland.

This property is amazing! Great location to a lot of hiking, rock climbing and glacier trekking - the view from the porch was wonderful. The kitchen has everything we needed and the porch has a great bbq grill. We were surprised most people only stayed one night. Highly recommend these cabins!

Very cute property. Great view of horse field across the street and mountains behind the cabin. Great area to take pictures. Hofn is a 5 minute drive and such a nice little town. Diner there has great food. The cabin itself was cozy and had so much room. 10/10 recommend staying here if your driving through this area on ring road like we did.

The Aurora Cabins were located just outside Hofn. They are quiet, well maintained, and beautiful location. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Hofn.

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Aurora Cabins. It was incredibly clean, had an extremely helpful host, and the most amazing views. The mountains right outside our bedroom window were amazing. We also got to witness the Northern Lights right above the cabins! 10/10 recommend!

We loved this experience the Little cabin on a hill. The Cabins are beautiful and surrounded by an even more beautiful landscape of mountains. We stayed warm and cozy and it was very clean. The Northern Lights were amazing too! The little town of Hofn was very close and quaint. We enjoyed the sunset there on the water and a wonderful seafood dinner. It was the perfect night. We would highly recommend!

We had a great stay at the Aurora Cabins. The space was clean and convenient. Having the entire space to ourselves was a nice treat. The cabin has a full kitchen, which was helpful for making breakfast and heading out for the day. We were 5 minutes from Hofn and right off route 1, allowing easy access to sites. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice, modern and well-equipped cabin, about 2 miles or so, outside of Town. The views are beautiful, and the owner was friendly and responsive. The cabin sleeps 4 but I think the living area would be a bit cramped at 4. We were 3 and that felt just right.

Very convenient and private. There would be enough places for 4 people to sleep very comfortably. The double bed is in a bit of a corner so the person on the inside needs to be able to sort of climb in, but it was comfortable and the bedding was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, shower water pressure and heat were great, even had a BBQ on the front deck. It was holidays and our cabin had adorable Christmas lights. We were lucky enough to see Aurora one of the nights we were there, so the cabins even lived up to their name!

Perfect place for Höfn and Vestrahorn area.
These cabins were a terrific find. Very comfortable and a short drive to Höfn. Fantastic views all around. Looking forward to staying here on my next trip to Iceland.

Spacious with excellent finishing touches
Spacious cabin with better finishes and touches than most other cabins. Only 6 minutes away from town yet away from the town lights to be able to enjoy the northern lights if they are out (ignoring vehicle headlights from the major road running by). It was quiet and the lovely balcony must be very pleasant in summer to barbecue and relax. It was one of our top places to stay during our trip to Iceland.

We stay 2 nights at Aurora Cabin. It is located on Highway 1 and it is easy to find. The Cabin is Cosy and have a nice Kitchen with everything we need to cook for a good meal. We met the Property Owner Ivac on 2nd day. He is nice and helpful. He told us where and when to look for Northern Light. We saw Northern Light that night just outside the Cabin. The Cabin is just a few miles from Hofn where we can buy Grocery We will definitely stay at Aurora Cabin again if we come back to Iceland

Modern cabin with good cooking amenities. Nice shower and bathroom fit out. Warm and cosy. Good views of mountains. Bed set up leaves one person in the living space and the living area itself is constrained and space was not utilised well.

Beautiful, clean well appointed cabin
Cabin was beautiful. New and spotless, very comfortable and great amenities. A larger pot for cooking would have been great and a coffee maker or large percolator would have been wonderful. Although we did very much appreciate the instant coffee and condiments. Washroom/shower were exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

We stayed for 1 night on our Ring Road trip. Out of all the properties we stayed in, this one was the least complicated in terms of getting keys/checking in. It was also the only property I could find the first time without getting lost! With a big road trip and staying in multiple properties, a seamless, quick "check-in" process was worth its weight in gold. The cabin itself is very simple, pretty, and clean. It's small but makes great use of space, has everything you need, and nothing you don't. It is in a cluster of 3 other cabins, which I wasn't excited about when I booked it (we wanted privacy) but the layout and the strategic placement of windows and doors means you don't notice the other cabins when you are inside. It is right off the road, so there is some road noise and headlights in the front room, but the cabin is well insulated and we didn't hear or see anything in the bedroom. There is a wonderful view of the mountains and we enjoyed watching the horses across the road running through the field in the morning. If you are looking for a luxury resort type place, this isn't your stop. If you are looking for a great little cabin on your way around Iceland, here you go!

It was very clean and provided a good stopping point. This is a very small cabin. The kitchen was very small and there was not a coffee maker. It was the only place in our 10 day stay without one. While we had enough beds for our four family members, finding room for 4 suitcases was interesting and we had to put them in the family room area. Overall it was a great stay because it was convenient, clean and modern but it was tight with four people.

Perfect Night on the Road outside of Hoffn
Super clean, quaint, warm and easy to enter using a key lock system. Perfect for a quick night on the road. We kept the window open and were warm under the nice, clean white comforter while the cool, glacial air danced through the open window off the July glaciers.
