"As soon as you walk in you get this awful smell, smells like a dead rodent or something.. room wasn’t very clean you can tell they do a quick wipe down and just let the next person go in. but unfortunately this was one of the better motels in the area. People at the front desk were friendly, I just wouldn’t book again unfortunately."

"Staff was super nice and friendly. Our was a little beat up looking. There was brown smudge up high on the walls above the beds plus therr was somewhere underneath one the beds was no going to attempt to figure it out. "
"The location of this condo was excellent. There is lots to do nearby. It is well equipped with everyday essentials. If you like your morning coffee as I do, bring your own mug. The Keurig is a small 6oz maker. Though this did not hinder my stay at all. The pool was just outside and very convenient. There is an ice machine for all to use, by the pool. There was never anyone there when we would go down. Most people go to the lazy river pool. There is a nice beach arear by the dock where you can enjoy games, sunning, kayak and seado rentals. The condo is perfect for two couples. You can retreat to your private room & bath. The common places living room & kitchen were perfect for us. The living room could house children sleeping on air matress or use the pull out sleeper couch. The owner did provide paper towels, toilet paper, small ( travel)shampoo soap, lotion, dish detergent and trash bags. You can also do laundry. My communication with the owner was easy thru Vrbo app. This was a great place to stay. I recommend it to all."

"We love Kingsmill. It is peaceful, pretty and convenient. This condo has a great view of the river, and a nice big family room/kitchen for people to gather. We came for my daughter's graduation from college and the grandparents stayed with us too. It was great to be where they could take walks and enjoy the quiet away from campus. Harris Teeter is close for groceries and we could do laundry right in the condo. It was easy to eat at the Kingsmill restaurants also. We didn't have access to the gym or the pool, but we were able to rent bikes. (There are stairs to get to the condo, which was no problem for my parents as they are fit, but it could be an issue for someone with mobility challenges.) It was so nice to have bathtubs, a big couch, stocked kitchen, table for six, and two king-sized beds. Terrific condo!"
