"We had a lovely break at Lodge Cottage. the location is so peaceful and the ground are amazing. we did not make use of the swimming pool, table tennis or snooker but it was nice to have the option. for us the location is a little too far inland as everything was booked up but that did not affect our break as we went out to the North Norfolk coast several times and Lottie our working cocker spaniel enjoyed a swim in the sea. "Our first stay and we’ll definitely be back, all staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Car park easy to access, breakfast excellent with attentive staff. The bar of an evening has a very inviting atmosphere and Steve the bar manager is a fine host and keeps a super pint of Feathers Best! Accommodation and housekeeping very good. We’ll be recommending The Feathers to our friends"

"We were not able to check in as there was a problem with the room. We were not notified before arriving at the property, despite receiving a revised room number/check in info on the morning of our expected arrival. Communication was not great, and whilst we were provided another alternative accommodation, I have not heard back from the hotel since. "

"Although the hotel has the status Manor it was a bit tired in some areas. The breakfast area needed to be stocked up a few times and ran out of a couple of things. Staff mainly helpful and friendly Ordered food from the lunchtime menu when we arrived and the prawns in our food were a bit hard and the pasta was not linguine it was tagliatelle. Arrived back not too late from our party and the hotel bar was shut "
