"The lady on reception was very pleasant on arrival and helpful. After that point things went downhill. The family room was very run down and the carpet had both dog and human hair in it. It clearly had not been hoovered before we arrived. The walls were marked badly and as usual the family room was la ed in the attic of the building. Such a shame because the location lends itself to being a great hotel! "

"Beautiful accommodation with quality fixtures and fittings. We were a family of 10 and the kitchen was so well stocked with crockery and utensils, over and above what you might expect. Two dishwashers were a real bonus. Location is great, so much to see on foot. Would highly recommend "

"We had a fantastic week. Cottage had everything needed for a week's break and was very comfortable. Location quiet which was great but very close to beach and shops. Pubs etc. lovely walks to Cromer and Weybourne. Dog loved holiday."

"Beck Cottage is a lovely welcoming and comfortable place to stay, in a very convenient but quiet location. There are good views across the common to Beeston Bump and parking is easy.It’s a short walk to the seafront and the shops, and there are good bus and train services. The fresh daffodils were a nice touch."

"An amazing property, the photos don't do it justice. All the bedrooms are of a really good size and the views of the sea are breathtaking. Kitchen is more than well equipped and caters really well for a large party.The location is fantastic, easy walk into Sheringham itself and so close to the beach, just a five minute walk. And in the other direction on the doorstep is a lovely walk along the clifftop.The Games room was very much appreciated by everyone as well as the books, games and jigsaws in the living/dining area on the ground floor which also had fantastic sea views as well as ample seating for us all."
