"The room was wonderful, with a lovely view; it was in the lodge, so a bit of a walk to the restaurant. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant; we enjoyed our food very much, especially the seeded rolls. (We were disappointed that the rolls weren't available at breakfast.)"

"Super home in south west HarrisWe're repeat visitors to this lovely house and it never disappoints. We were delighted to see that the bedrooms have had a big upgrade this year with new (very comfy) beds, bedding and carpets. As said in our last review; the house is warm, comfortable, well equipped, quiet and in a super location. Would thoroughly recommend. It's an easy walk to beautiful beaches and the Temple and an easy drive to even more beautiful beaches. Beautiful views across the Northton salt flats to the Harris hills/Luskentyre. 5 minute drive to Leverburgh for shop/restaurant/ferry to Berneray."

"PHENOMENAL place to stay to get the full Skye experience with ease and luxury. Beautiful views, cozy living spaces, and well stocked kitchen with everything you need for a family night in after a day of hiking. Game nights were elevated by the wood stove that was easy to get started. While the location is remote, all the tourist spots are accessible with several local ‘off the beaten path’ options around too. 10/10 will be coming back. Exactly what we were looking for."

"This places is great, and the views are amazing. Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were there, so we did not get one of the fantastic sunsets that others have raved about. However, we appreciated the supplies left to get a fire going (and instructions on how to properly use the stove), because it was nice to have after a day out in the chilly rain. The only thing that is not in the listing that I think folks should know is that the bathroom is on the first floor, and both bedrooms are on the second floor. The bathroom is quite spacious and recently renovated. But, the stairs are a bit short and have a curve. So, if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, it's not ideal. It wasn't a big deal for us, but it may be others. That's why I wanted to make sure it was noted. Also, the clothes dryer is behind one of the kitchen cabinets. We didn't find it until our last day there. Because there are several locations to hang-dry clothing, we thought there was only a washing machine (it doesn't have a cabinet door hiding it). So if rains on you the whole time (like it did us), be sure to open all the cabinets to find the dryer that can help dry your clothing. "

"This property was exceptional, from the moment we booked until after we checked out. We were a family of 6 - two grandparents, son and daughter in law, and two grandkids. Beautiful location, house was very comfortable and had more than we could have asked for in amenities! Communication with hosts was exceptional and good information provided in the house as well. Would highly recommend!!"
