We've stayed at this same hotel for over 40 years. The amenities are sufficient, however, feel that the staff ie. breakfast/cleaning crew felt like they were rushed and sometimes communication was difficult. Is it possible they are trying to do too much? Clean the rooms and take care of breakfast? I feel like more staffing would help. The check-in also was not an easy process.

Tiny apartment but suitable for short stay. Location fantastic. Would be nice if there was a proper door handle as the door is very hard to pull close with the metal "Lip" type handle. Check in was easy and uncomplicated.

"My start of journey train was cancelled so 2 hours later than anticipated arriving at the hotel. However the reception staff were understanding, kind and welcoming when I did arrive. "The hotel was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was nice and big. They have an essence spray as you walk into reception that weirdly just makes the whole place feel inviting.
