  • This luxury couples’ cottage is situated on an attractive terrace in the charming Georgian town of Holt. A paradise for shoppers, this bustling town boasts art and antique galleries, independent fashion boutiques, gift shops, grocery stores offering local produce, and an excellent selection of cafes, pubs and restaurants. From Holt Railway Station, on the outskirts of town, you can take the Poppy Line steam train to Weybourne and Sheringham. Cley-next-the-Sea (4 miles) is a pretty village with a landmark windmill, art galleries, a fabulous deli and tearooms. Not too far outside the village is the Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor centre and Cley Marshes – a must for nature enthusiasts. The coastal towns of Blakeney, Morston, Salthouse and Sheringham (all within 6.5 miles) are well worth a visit. History fans might want to check out Baconsthorpe Castle (3.5 miles) or explore the National Trust properties Felbrigg Hall (9 miles) and Blickling Hall (10 miles).

Constructed of beautiful bluestone, this quintessential Grade II-listed cottage retains many original features and boasts immaculate interiors with a light and airy living space. Step into the sitting room, where a sofa, Smart TV, underfloor heating and wood burner make this the perfect place to relax. Beyond the sitting room is a well-designed and well-equipped kitchen/diner with a breakfast bar and seating for two, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer and microwave. From the kitchen, a steep, Norfolk-winder staircase leads to the first floor. Here you’ll find a gorgeous king-size bedroom with a feature fireplace. A contemporary bathroom, hosting a bath and a separate walk-in shower, completes the first floor. Please be aware that the property has low doorways.

Outside is a sunny, private garden featuring outdoor furniture and a charming summer house with comfortable chairs, offering a lovely spot to curl up with a good book, enjoy a morning coffee, or simply relax and soak up the sunshine. Your small four-legged friend can also enjoy the fresh air in this secure enclosed space. An allocated off-site parking space (a 300m walk) is available to rent during your stay for £20, paid directly to the owner prior to arrival. Alternatively there is also a pay-and-display car park just 50 metres away on Albert Street, which is free overnight and costs £46 for a week-long stay.
