Entrance to Holton Lee This gate, and the word "Private" seem to deny access to the heath. However, on the other side there is a welcome display board and free leaflets about the Holton Lee Nature Reserve. So long as you are on foot, ignore the sign and go on. All quite strange. Holton Heath: postbox № BH16 129, Station Road This postbox, without the monarch's insignia, is set into a large brick pillar outside a military establishment. In fact, Station Road is a private road belonging to the Ministry of Defence – that's the impression given by the 'private' signage – but it is a public footpath. The postbox is emptied at 4pm on weekdays and at 9:45am on Saturdays.

The room was very clean, the hotel was lovely and clean. The spa was amazing and all the staff in the hotel were very friendly. Would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay there again 🙂

The whole experience was wonderful. The pool, although cold was well used, followed by a dip in the hot tub. The little private pub was a hit, along with the games room. A beautiful venue for special ocasions. Comfortable rooms, lovely grounds and helpful hosts. Altogether amazing.
