Details: Escape for crisp mountain air and spectacular adventure at Woodpecker Cottage 7, a 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom home on Lake Tahoe’s West Shore that sleeps 4 guests. Part of the Cedar Crest Cottages and set on forested grounds, guests of this property enjoy access to a seasonal shared firepit and grilling area. Lake Tahoe offers an assortment of family-friendly fun, including paddleboarding, boating, hiking trails, and more. For skiing, Homewood Mountain Resort is only a 2-minute drive, and Palisades Tahoe is 25 minutes away.

On the bottom floor, find 2 guest bedrooms, each boasting plush bedding and a TV for convenient entertainment. The first bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom has a king bed that can be converted into 2 twin beds. In the hall closet, a stacked washer and dryer make it easy to keep clothes fresh for future adventures.

The living, dining, and kitchen spaces are all located on the second level. Warm hardwood floors and richly-painted walls create a cozy atmosphere, accented with tasteful, mountain-inspired décor. Perfect Rental, However never received any instructions on how to get into the unit. I had to research to try to find a phone number to contact someone therefore we were late getting into the unit. The unit had a broken blind, would not go up, therefore the unit was very dark, that took two phone calls to try to get someone out there to fix that. Icemaker did not work and toilet seat was broken when they came out to fix the blind. We informed them about the icemaker, but that never got fixed. I did not bother calling about the toilet seat, I didn’t want to spend all my time getting repairs done to the unit.However, the unit was great and I would rent there again.
