52 m2, offering a very comfortable living-kitchen-dining room with everything you might need, including full kitchen, 43" Smart TV with Netflix account and a private south-facing terrace (30m2) with separate lounge and dining areas, views of the bay and the mountains and covered by a beautiful wooden pergola. Super-fast 1GB fibre-optic data connection and Wi-Fi and workstation. One large bathroom with walk-in rain shower and amenities. Two double bedrooms with king-size bed (180 cm) or two single beds (90 cm), with very comfortable mattresses, bed linen, choice of pillow, duvet, towels. Ideal for a family or two couples and fully accessible for everyone.
Kostoenea is ideally located on the southern hillside of the Jaizkibel mountain range, away from the hustle and bustle in a totally rural environment. It is surrounded by nature with hundreds of routes to enjoy on foot or by bike right on the doorstep, between the mountains and the sea. When you look out of the window, you can see sheep, horses, goats, chickens… you can hear the birds singing while you witness a beautiful sunrise over the bay.
If you fancy a change of scenery, in just 5 minutes, you can be in the fabulous seaside town of Hondarribia with its beach, shops, bars and Michelin-star restaurants. The border with France is just 10 minutes away, you can get to San Sebastian in 25 minutes, Biarritz in 40 minutes and Bilbao in 90 minutes by car.
And if you want a more environmentally option it’s a 30-min walk into town where there is an excellent bus service to get around the area, a shuttle-boat from Hondarribia to Hendaye (France) that takes just 7 minutes, bike hire…

So many reviews talk about the nice hosts, but Nadia and her husband are above and beyond. They are tremendously friendly and attentive to every detail.The house is brand new, extremely modern yet plenty of Spanish charm, amazingly clean and practical and comfortable. The towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils are all generous and nice.Of course, the best part for us is you can literally walk out of the apartment and start hiking trails on the Jaizkaibel mountain, starting with a path to the Church of Guadalupe.Hondarribia is a lovely village, albeit quite small. They have a great beach (very dog friendly for all but the peak summer months), plenty of restaurants, a ferry across the bay to France takes 7 minutes and the drive to San Sebastian is only 15 minutes. There is a grocery store within a 5 minute drive of the apartment.Absolutely fabulous.
