"Velvet Lodge was a great stay. It is at a walkable distance from the central station which is convenient if you are traveling with family and have a lot of luggage like we did. The property was neat and clean, and staff are supportive. Only caveat was walking up and down the stairs for 3 floors with the bags."

"Great central location close to transport and shops. Top floor room was nice and bright. Staff were very helpful and the laundry was an added bonus. "
