"Great location on the edge of Paia, about a block off the highway nestled at the base of a beautiful mango tree. Faint traffic noise from lanai, some normal residential sounds such as house being built next door. Did not bother us a bit. Very quiet at night. Comfortable queen sized bed upstairs. Plenty of space for two people, and really a nice little place. Compact but complete kitchen. Guest book a bit outdated (no access to Tavares beach from highway, no screen in upstairs French doors, and most of historic Lahaina is gone now after the 2023 fire, or with restricted areas). Despite notes in the house about bugs, we didn’t see a single ant or gnat. Poni was immediately responsive to any questions or issues. It’s a great house!"

"Easy to book, unit very clean and comfortable, provided instruction Manuel so you know what to expect. Location is ideal and close to Mama’s Beach (Mama Fish House) with sea turtles. I would book again!"

"Paia is not a good location since it doesn’t have much. And it’s the most windy part of Mayi. But this place is amazinggggg! I appreciated the rice cooker, stuff to clean the house, some beach gears. It even has spices! Place is nice & clean. The sliding door was a bit hard to open. There’s a drying rack which we could dry our wet clothes from the beach. "

"This was the perfect stay to start the Road to Hana and the town of Paia is so lovely and had a lot of food options. The beaches around this area were some of our favorite. If you can, make a reservation at Mamas Fishhouse or try and walk in around lunch time-it’s worth every penny! "

"We stayed at Kuau Surf 2.0 twice this month. It is very convenient to Paia town. The condo was very clean and well maintained. The communication from the host was great. Everything was exactly as advertised. This would be our first choice should we need lodging on this side of the island."
