Lovely annexe in a quiet village
We made a return visit to this lovely property. The owners are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The annexe is very well equipped. The property is in a quiet lane yet close to main roads, making it very convenient for exploring the area and travelling further afield. We were treated to homemade cake and eggs from the owners' chickens. I'm sure we will be back. Thank you!

A perfect couple getaway location
We absolutely loved this annex in Slinfold. Pauline and David were wonderful hosts. The cottage was spotless, it was within walking distance of the Downs Link and the local pub. The Red Lion, the local pub, was friendly and had good pub food. Horsham is only a 10 minute drive away with every convenience that the village might not have. Millie their calico cat was a sweet companion and loved to socialize with guests staying in the annex. Next time we visit the area we are staying there again!

On arrival we had pauline and David to welcome us in the beautiful annexe very private would return.
Pauline and David are wonderful hosts they made my husband and I feel very welcome. The property is lovely we stayed here as we were work in the area .we have both said we would love to come back and stay . It's very peaceful with a lovely private patio area and a hot tub .the annexe is lovely with everything you would need for a relaxing stay.

The hosts, Pauline and David, gave us a very friendly welcome and couldn't have been nicer during our stay, they clearly love hosting people. Slinfold is a lovely quiet village, the annexe is cosy and comfortable, the views over the garden are lovely, it really is everything you could possibly want or need. The hot tub is a touch of luxury and we loved it! All in all a fabulous place to stay and relax!!

Had a lovely stay with pauline and david. On arrival we had fresh eggs and cupcakes waiting for us that was a really lovely touch. Beautiful views over the garden. We hired the beach hut for the day was truly beautiful.i fully recommend anyone to do this !. A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN
We were asked by David and Pauline what time we would be arriving because they wanted to be around when we arrived. As soon as we drove in the driveway we felt the stress fall away. A beautiful flat with everything you could wish for, a real home from home. it was so lovely sitting outside and enjoying the garden and peacefulness. Even the dogs and cats came to welcome us. David and Pauline could not do enough to make us feel at home. On our arrival we had lovely fresh eggs and cakes waiting for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely and clean and tidy. Situated in a charming quiet village. Lovely view garden side of annex.
Plenty of room for 2 people. Furniture comfortable. Hens and cockerels in owners garden which gave it a real country feel! Only downside for me was that I like to lay on the bed in the afternoon for a half hour nap, but at this time was aware of voices coming from main building to which the annexe is joined to. Did not hear this at night time which was good. Owners David and Pauline very kind and helpful.

Great location, friendly owners.
Ideal for get away with coast in easy reach. Hot tub for use but unfortunately we had rain so couldn’t use it. Garden would be lovely to sit outside. Everything you need. Owners friendly and helpful. Can walk into village but quite dark at night - need torch.

Perfect!
We had the best weekend away in the lovely Annexe of Pauline and David. They were wonderful hosts , and a warm berry crumble upon our arrival was a real delight! (Thankyou Pauline). The annexe has everything you could possible need and more , and the hot tub was a real bubbly treat. Beautiful area and beautiful views. An Ideal Place To Get-Away-From-It-All
This property has 3 great things going for it. Firstly, the hosts. Pauline and David are a delightful couple. Welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much for them. They made a wonderful stay a memorable experience. Secondly, the property. The self-contained annexe offers all you could ever need for a short break or – as in my case – a slightly longer stay. Thirdly, the location. Slap-bang in the middle of the beautiful Sussex countryside, the setting is both relaxing yet well situated to enjoy the surrounding towns and villages. Was exactly the break I needed having lived in a noisy capital city for the past 10 years. All-in-all I can't recommend Apple Tree Annexe highly enough. 10-out-of-10 all round! Steve

the annex is to close to the owners house, there is a door missing from the bedroom, the bed is very small, you can hear the owners moving around at night when trying to sleep, there is no oven in the kitchen, the microwave is small and takes forever to cook, the level of appliances in kitchen is poor, over all not as listed, will not be returning, very upset. we are pleased that our stay was short.

Disappointed with comments as we have had no complaints regarding the accommodation from any of our previous guests, who have left delightful reviews. "Missing" door leads to hanging space and cupboard. Kitchen appliances are as listed in our details. Bedroom has a standard double bed. "Annexe" definition from Collins Dictionary: "An annexe is a building which is joined to or is next to a larger main building". A lovely little retreat

Fantastic little annex, in a lovely quiet part of peaceful Sussex countryside.
Cute little annex equipped with everything you need for a get away, tucked away along a quiet lane but still very close to all local amenities. Great location right next to the South Downs walk ways.

Home from Home in the sussex countryside
Myself and my 2yr old daughter Sienna stayed at Apple Tree Annexe for 9 nights.Pauline and David were very welcoming and introduced us to all the animals which my daughter loved. Pauline and David also found some toys for sienna which were a hit .The fresh eggs from the chickens and the quails were a lovely treat.Sienna and I visited the horses daily and had some lovely chats with Pauline. The annex is bright and clean with everything you could need.I could not have picked a better place.There is a good old english pub within walking distance which did really good food.There is the downs link on your doorstep if walking or mountain biking is your thing. I would highly recommend this countryside treasure to anyone,Sienna and I were sad to leave but more adventures are ahead. fantastic countryside village retreat with lovely hosts
My wife and I wanted a relaxing few days away in the countryside so we picked this place. How perfect everything turned out. Firstly we met the owners of the annex who live in the beautiful house of which was all part of the most idyllic surroundings . Pauline and David were very friendly and nothing was any trouble to them. Our accommodation had everything you need for a relaxing holiday. All perfectly clean , modern and comfy. But for me , opening the french doors out into garden was just beautiful . We had the use of a fantastic hot tub ( which I think my wife now wants one ) in the garden which is looking out onto a secluded little meadow , where Pauline's horses roam about munching the grass .The village itself is like something you would picture from a book . Imagine a perfect English country house in a perfect English village , and that's how I found this place. About 3 houses down, is the link to the south downs pathway, lovely for walking or cycling. We hope to visit again and see Pauline and David soon . Thank you for everything , PERFECT

Really enjoyed our stay!
My husband and I spent a wonderful week at this very cute, clean and well-equipped cottage. Pauline and David are very gracious, friendly and helpful hosts. To help us enjoy our breakfast, they purchased a coffee maker to use during our stay. We loved the quiet and peaceful setting that is within walking distance to a small village and great little pub. We also appreciated the use of their bicycles to ride through the local trails. We would not hesitate to stay here again and will be recommending it to all our friends back home.

Sehr gemütlich, ruhig und sauber. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich nett und hilfsbereit, dabei aber nicht aufdringlich. Sie wohnt gleich nebenan. Die Wohnung besteht aus einer Wohnküche mit kleiner Terrasse, einem Schlafzimmer, Diele und Bad. Zur Küche gehört neben Spüle und Kühlschrank eine Mikrowelle mit Grill, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher sowie eine externe Kochstelle mit 2 Platten. Für die kleine Küche zwischendurch völlig ausreichend. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Ruhiger Urlaub für 2 in toller Lage mit tollen Gastgebern
Alles war super, die beiden Gastgeber hatten viele wertvolle Tipps und waren sehr hilfsbereit. Ein Highlight war der Whirlpool im Garten.
