We stayed one night when we were going to Wind Cave National Park. It is an older, refurbished motel that is maintained very well. The host was very friendly, and the continental breakfast had quite a variety compared to other “continental breakfasts” I’ve had. If you need just a night or two in this part of the Black Hills, I would recommend this place.

Old school style motel. The room was small. but comfortable and clean. I was able to park right in front of my room. I didn't use the pool, but it looked clean and well cared for. The owner was friendly and helpful. Typical breakfast. My only complaint was that there was no hair dryer.

Wally was super helpful and a wonderful host. Our room was clean, as was the pool. However, our room was a bit musty and humid. I saw that they are planning to update some rooms, but for now, just keep that in mind if you are sensitive to that sort of thing. The room is very basic, motel style, but it is a clean place to rest while you explore the area. Laundry facilities work and were easy to use. Breakfast is a cold breakfast, but there are several options to choose from, like cereal, yogurt, bagels, and bananas. You get a nice view of some hills from the room. The area is quiet and there is a walking trail nearby that leads to downtown.
