"The place was an absolute delight to be at. Its layout was charming and very functional; it was clean and had lovely amenities to make our stay feel special. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the large living area was light and inviting and a fun gathering place for our family weekend. The location is perfect for numerous walks to the beach. We loved the place and will definitely come back."

"Perfect room. Pleasant gentleman who checked us in. Short 5 min walk to great beach (early morning we were on the beach alone). Amenities include microwave, mini frig, toaster. Cute town. Hahei Explorer boat ride is informative and about an hour. Cathedral Cove walk is quite nice, but be prepared for some steepness (about 2 miles one way)."

"I’ve driven all over the North island these past 2 weeks and wish I’d spent less time everywhere else and more time in Hahei, specifically at Church Accommodation! My cottage was elegant and comfortable, with a view into a carefully crafted luxury jungle. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful with directions and by keeping top-notch shovels and beach towels on hand for my excursion to nearby Hot Water Beach (go during the middle-of-the-night low tide, if you can. I went during the day and it was overly crowded which made digging a decent soaking hole challenging…). My shovel was the envy of all my soaking neighbors! I had dinner two nights at the Bistro on the property and was overjoyed at the food and service—they’re owned separately, but it’s nice to be walking distance to the best restaurant in town. The beach up the street is simply one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been too and the walk to Cathedral Cover was more of an elevation gain than I bargained for, but so very worth it. (You can skip a few miles and drive to the parking lot, nearby if you need to. There are boats, too, for a price.) There is a great little breakfast spot up the road and a market next to that. My pretty cottage had a nicely appointed kitchen with a full set of cookware and dishes. I’m already sorry to have left…"

"Private, peaceful and close to everything beautiful in and around Hahei. I especially loved hearing and seeing so many different birds, and also hearing a kiwi! An absolutely beautiful view to wake up to. Starting everyday to the sound of ruru was just divine, I would absolutely stay here again"
