"Room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice location for walking around downtown Montrose (which is very cute). We were initially placed in a queen room when we reserved a king; fortunately we were able to switch into a king. Coffee bar downstairs was convenient and made good drinks. There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. It’s only one flight which wasn’t a problem for us but could be for others. Bedside wall lights are awkwardly placed so they need to be moved to avoid hitting your head and moved back for reading. Transportation from the airport to the hotel was difficult (uber and Lyft not reliable there, no taxis at airport) so plan to make arrangements in advance."

"The hotel was clean, but it does need renovated. Everything worked, however, and the staff was fantastic. Breakfast was basic but good. The location was great. The beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. The room had a huge TV, which was much larger than most hotel rooms, so that was nice. I would stay there again. The price was $125 a night. I think it probably should have been about $90, considering the need for an update. Overall, it was good and I think other hotels in Montrose were much more expensive."

Two years in a row, we have had the most relaxing and enjoyable experience on this breathtaking property. Never have I slept in a more comfortable bed! Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Anything we needed was always just a quick message away and Scott was a pleasure to deal with! We have already talked about booking again the same time next year! This will absolutely be our go to destination every single year. Beautiful views, quiet property, just LOVE the landscape. While it feels like you’re out in the middle of nowhere, you are less than five minutes from town. The property is nestled in the hills where all you can hear are the birds chirping and your own heartbeat. Just absolute peace. I feel refreshed and ready to tackle another year.
