"Even while under lobby renovations, we found the convention center Marriott impeccably maintained. There was a weekend convention going on, but there was still parking in their garage. The pool and gym seemed to be closed due to the work going on. Great coffee at KC’s Korner and the location was an easy walk to local restaurants… :)"

"The hotel advertised breakfast on Expedia. However, when I asked what time breakfast was served, the maintenance/front desk staff told me they have not offered breakfast “in a while.” Check-in was also extremely unorganized. When I arrived, I waited approximately 30–45 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. Once the clerk arrived, they had to call the property owner at home to confirm my reservation. I specifically requested a non-smoking king room, but I was initially assigned a smoking room with two queen beds. The room was dirty, and the bedding was old, worn, and torn. The following day, I was moved to a king room, but unfortunately that room also had cleanliness issues—there were visible spider webs hanging from the ceiling, and the bedding was again dirty, with cigarette burns similar to the first room. I was also told the owners are waiting until the Masters to purchase new bedding and make updates. While I understand some properties are independently owned, I have stayed at other Sonesta locations and this experience was far below what I expect from the Sonesta brand. Independently owned or not, Sonesta should not allow a motel/hotel to operate under its brand without thorough vetting and ongoing quality standards."

"This could have a been a really nice stay, it’s in a great area and walkable to several restaurants. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Basic check in and ordering a drink from the bar was met with an attitude of annoyance. Not a single person could be considered friendly or helpful. I had to call after several texts to request a receipt, and was again talked to like an annoyance. My shower was dirty and had clearly not been cleaned between guests. Pretty disappointed in my overall experience, I had higher expectations from this hotel. "

"The vending machines on the floors are gone. Must purchase items only in the lobby. However, there's signs that there's machines on the floor. Ice machines only on 2nd & 4th floors. The bathroom walls were dirty. The bed & pillows were comfortable. The staff was nice"

"The hotel really needs to be updated. The bathroom had mold all around the tub. There were roaches on the desk area as well as in the bathroom. We had to call several times down to the front desk because the people above us had kids that sound like they were bouncing a ball as well as jumping off the bed all night long. It was not a welcoming atmosphere and very unsanitary. We had to change out the towels because they were still dirty. It was just an overall bad experience. We will not stay here again. We were definitely over charged. "
