"Very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Great spacious family room, clean and comfortable, with a lovely view from the window. Nice quiet location with places to eat in the evening a short walk away. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Would definitely recommend."

"I booked this property for two nights but ended up staying only 20 minutes. The owner was extremely rude and unwelcoming, making the place feel completely uncomfortable and unsafe. I’ve never had such a terrible experience with a host before. I immediately left and had to find other accommodation. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place."

"Great location for where I was working and Very clean and tidy. The room was small but its a single and has everything you need. the owners where on hand if you require anything. there is a very good local food pub 5 mins walk away. more if you want to drive or items form the village shop also run by the owners if you prefer."

"It is a lovely B&B. A little remote but beautiful views all around. Stayed two nights in the Boots room. Nice big room with large double bed, little sofa, couple of chairs and a gorgeous deep window sill, perfect for the morning cuppa and views across the fields. Bathroom was a good size as was the shower. Nothing worse than a tiny shower cubicle and this was a nice big space. They are horses and alpacas at the property. "Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy"

"Great welcome and communication by the people running the house, its tucked away in a quiet place with locked and safe parking behind a gate. Rooms were very clean and comfy but I didn't have any food which was kindly on offer so can't comment on that. Very friendly welcome."
