"The bedrooms are spacious and the A/C in each room along with the fans helped a lot. The primary suite was like staying at a 5 star hotel. Everything was supplied for us and we enjoyed the lanai the most. All of us left wanting to purchase the mattresses!"

"While it wasn't the fastest wifi, it let me watch YouTube with ease. But besides that, I wasn't there for fast internet. There's a whole beautiful island to explore. Room was very clean, A/C was a window type unit and not overpowering you with cold air. It did the job it was intended for and so the room was comfortable."

"The Sunrise Cottage, and indeed the entire Pu'u o Hoku Ranch is a hidden gem. We may be biased since we held our wedding celebration here back in 2016, but to return ten years later and find it even more lovely was a delight. Molokai isn't for everyone, but to those drawn to it a wonderful adventure awaits. We'll return as often as they'll have us. Mahalo to all those who made our stay so wonderful."

"I travel extensively using booking sites like Vrbo for nearly all stays. This is the first time that I have written a negative review about a host.On check-in day, still no check-in info. I sent host a Vrbo msg. No reply for 3 hours. I called Vrbo support. The host calls and says check-in info was in “welcome email”. I told her I didn’t receive it. She asks, “why didn’t you let me know that you did not receive it?”. At one point she says, “I am German. I am very organized”.In condo, I text that I can’t find washer/dryer in unit. “There must be some miscommunication, they aren’t in the unit. They are in a separate building and require coins. The code to laundry room must be obtained from office. Today is Sunday so office is closed.” Other properties list these as “Coin laundry”.Then she texts, “Tomorrow you need to register at office and pay 30.” “Pay 30 for what?”. “It is listed in my Welcome letter. The admin office charges for registration/parking.” “Your listing states ‘Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees’”. She calls and denies it is hidden because it is a condo office charge, and she discloses it in welcome email after booking. I told her that is the very definition of a hidden fee and I refused to pay a fee that wasn’t included in the total booking amount.Final text from host, “FYI I’m a super host with Vrbo for 11 years. I have no control of fees added by the homeowner association…they are not part of my billing and I never had any problems...""

"We were very disappointed when we arrived. We knew Wavecrest from previous stays and were looking forward to the highly rated accommodation. However, the condo was dirty, unkempt, and the sight of the bathroom with leftovers in the toilet was shocking.I documented the situation with photos and sent the hosts an email. I waited more than two hours—no response. I had to call the hostess at my own expense, who apologized but did not seem proactive. The next day, a thorough cleaning took place, but after a journey of more than 40 hours, the “welcome” was not what we had expected."
