"Everything! I arrived at the site after 8 pm and found it was impossible to check in to my room. There was no one to answer the on site phone and no one answered or responded to my voice mail on an emergency phone number that I found clipped on the back door. (The note was removed the next day and never replaced) After paying a second hotel for my first night in Ormond Beach, I did check in the next day. None of the staff asked why I didn’t stay the first night. None cared. The room smelled -...

"The room was well-appointed and very clean. Upon arrival we felt welcome by several staff members who took the time to chat with us. Throughout our stay, we saw that staff members enjoyed working there and with each other. Something you don't often notice these day. Dusty and Heather were especially awesome!"

"The front desk was moody and not very approachable. We added on two nights and both times it was completely uncomfortable dealing with front desk. We were there three nights and didn’t get clean towels throughout the stay. No housekeeping what so ever. The price was higher than usual and service was not good. Dryer was out of commission as well. Only hotel to charge for our service dog staying $28 a night non refundable "

"Our stay at the Tropical Winds Hotel was peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing. Access to the pool was easy and the beach was in very close proximity. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only “complaint” would be lack of direct stairway to the beach - due to recent damages from hurricane. "
