"The Birchwood Cottage is adorable. Renters should know that the bedroom on the main floor is open at the top so light and noise will wake a light sleeper since it is next to the kitchen and family room. Also, the bedroom in the basement has no door and the washer and dryer are in an open environment down there too. We loved all the pillows they had in the rooms, nice touch. The private lot was just what I was looking for at Keuka, it sat back far from the road, plenty of parking, lakefront with some shore and a yard the kids could run around and play on. Overall minimal steps inside and out, another big plus. The dock was concerning, boards not even, we all tripped on it and the boards on the end weren’t secured. We rented a pontoon boat and it held up for it but we were very careful getting on and off the boat. Another plus is the house is close to the marina. Overall, we had a nice week, this was our 3rd rental on Keuka. We have been in nicer houses, with nicer docks but not nicer lots, and minimal steps. Also, we would not rent if there was no fire pit we used it almost every night."

"Our family of 4 had a wonderful relaxing lake vacation. The cottage is small but has a large screened in porch that is a great living space to eat, hang out, and play games. The 2 kayaks and row boat were great. The lake was quiet and peaceful, no loud neighbors when we were there. Restaurants and wineries are within 10 to 15 minutes. We would definitely stay again."

"We had a wonderful week at this property. Everything was as described except I didn’t realize that we had to cross a small street to go down to the lake, but I could have just missed that detail. There are a lot of steps but made me get in some exercise. The house was nice and comfortable. All in all it was a relaxing, enjoyable stay with plenty to do in the area. The lake was beautiful and I really enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the dock."

"We absolutely love this property! Everything was very clean and had everything we needed to feel right at home. We also loved seeing the upgraded coffee maker! We had brought our Keurig along, so we didn’t get a chance to try it this time, but maybe next year! The setting is just beautiful and so incredibly peaceful. Even though the weather didn’t always cooperate, we still loved sitting outside, taking in the amazing lake views, and just enjoying how serene it is. It’s such a special place to spend time together as a family, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!"

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week on Keuka Lake at this property. Beds and bathrooms were plentiful, and the kitchen allowed many of us to work together to make meals. There were several roomy and comfortable spaces for people to work, read, play games and enjoy being with one another. Everyone especially enjoyed the glassed-in porch overlooking the water. The outside spaces were wonderful, too - both the patio by the house and the covered patio by the water. We rented kayaks and a paddleboard, and there was easy access in and out of the water. The dock also provided a great place to watch the meteor shower at night! The property managers responded quickly when we had questions, and came out to make repairs very quickly. We were impressed by the management group and really appreciated their care for the property. Thank you!"
