Autumn Splendor in the Adirondacks! Cozy Cabin on 5 Acres on Ausable River.

"Thank you for letting us stay in your house. The house was clean, comfortable, and stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, shampoo, body wash. There were liquid soap dispensers at every sink which was great but some were low or near empty. There were plenty of games to play and a front porch with chairs to relax. It had a nice fire pit area. We also enjoyed the stony beach area of the Ausable River which was a plus for granddaughter and dog to play in! The location of the house was near many trails for hiking, biking, paddle boarding and kayaking. It was great we could also include the dog in all our activities. We had a wonderful vacation."

"Perfect place to stay if you are hiking the high peaks or checking out Lake Placid but don’t want to deal with the crowds. The cabin was exceptionally clean and the host very accommodating. The hot tub was a godsend after a day of climbing two high peaks. Would 100% stay here again!"

"We arrived about 8:30pm and appreciated the open door and easy check-in. The room and beds were very comfortable. The shower was great too! Being at the end of the hall was nice - more private. Breakfast was amazing. We loved the fresh fruit, homemade blueberry muffins, and fresh bread and oatmeal with toppings. Scrambled eggs and toast too. Very comfy stay. We'll be back! Close to The Adirondacks hikes we'd planned."

"It’s a special place! a very comfortable lodge … we enjoyed the great room where we could all sit down together & have a meal, the porch for morning coffee & afternoon gatherings worked out great The host could not have been more gracious & generous with the goodies he left to make our stay that much more welcoming & comfortable! We are a family of 10 who enjoyed hiking, visiting beaches along Lake Champlain & golfing! The ferry over to Vermont was a fun outing seeing the Green Mountains from the water & then the Adirondacks on the way back was memorable! We had a great week!"

"It was a cute place, and definitely had the cabin feel. The small babbling brook and remote feel of the cabin definitely made it wonderful. Walking the nearby 4x4 road back to a few swamps was nice. We felt it was a convenient location for the area. We had a fire to cook on one evening, and firewood was already there. We enjoyed that it was well water, though a little irony.The negatives were the grass being kinda high when we got there, the bathroom being a separate building, and the instant hot water heater for the kitchen sink kept blowing the breaker even when everything else was off. I do feel it was average to favoring more on the expensive side for what it is."

"We stayed here for a very special ADK weekend where my husband, son, and nephew were finishing their final High Peaks to become 46ers, and this beautiful old farmhouse was the perfect home base for the celebration.It was definitely a splurge for us, but we were so glad we chose it. The house is an absolute gem: beautifully updated and renovated while preserving all the quirks, character, and charm of an old home. It was incredibly comfortable and full of thoughtful touches; plenty of towels and toiletries, coffee, a s’mores bar for the outdoor firepit, great WiFi and smart TV, and a genuinely well-appointed kitchen.I especially loved being able to bring our dog, and the location in Keene was excellent. Being able to walk to the bakery in the morning for coffee with the dog was an unexpected bonus.Stephanie (our hostess) was fantastic. Our plans kept shifting and our guest count changed several times between five and six adults, and she was consistently accommodating, understanding, and easy to communicate with.On our first evening, before the hikers arrived the next morning, my sister-in-law, my nephew’s girlfriend, and I stayed up late enjoying a bottle wine in this wonderful old house. It was such a lovely start to a memorable weekend... we would absolutely stay here again."

"– Absolutely Perfect Getaway!Loved the property! We had a group of 8, and the space accommodated us perfectly without ever feeling crowded. The environment is incredibly cozy and comfortable, but the real highlight was the proximity to the water—hearing the peaceful sound of the river all day long was amazing. We also thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, which was a fantastic bonus.The location is ideal because it gives you the flexibility to do as much or as little as you want. To top it off, the owners were wonderful hosts who replied immediately whenever we had a question or a need. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this property!"
