"Overall an average hotel really. Based on the reviews and photos we expected a lot more, particularly at that price point. Due to availability for 4 people we had to book one of the more expensive rooms. Again for that price point you’d expect a nice and quiet room. Ours was right under the reception area which was quiet noisy and for some reason particularly around 10pm. Rooms clean and good, pool was great with the kids but it looks much bigger on the photos than it actually is. Breakfast was good, dinner was EXPENSIVE! Definitely milking the remote location. Disappointing that the waitress didn’t tell us that we could also order from the (cheaper) lunch/room service menu. Some of the staff were amazing particularly with our kids. Others didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. Overall a good and average but very pricey hotel. Not living up to the hype created on various social posts."

"We loved our stay at The Greenhouse Hotel. Parking right outside the door made everything easy, and the complimentary breakfast was fresh, delicious, and such a great way to start the day. Our room was cozy, comfortable, and perfectly on‑trend. The whole hotel has this eclectic, fun energy that makes it feel special. After long days of hiking, coming back to the lively food court and bar area was such a treat — so many great dinner options that kept everyone in our group happy. A wonderful stay all around."

"The apartment was very cozy and a nice place to rest after an overnight flight (the comfortable mattress and black-out curtains were appreciated!) Very comfortable washroom and shower. It even had laundry facilities! Parking was easy. Staff at the restaurant below helped with check-in process. We took our morning walk in the nearby Geothermal park which has a geyser. This is probably a perfect location to spend the night if you are looking for an early morning start to see the Golden Circle - very easy drive to the Kerið Crater"
