the hotel has everything, Pub, Restaurant, Gym, Swimming
the staff are very helpful
the Check in and Check out time are not too flexible, the same for kids using the pool. to be fair expectation are set, but more flexibility for the hotel guest would have been highly appreciated.

I booked this hotel on the basis of all the information advertised on the site. When I arrived at the hotel after checking in, I was informed that the facilities advertised on Hotels.com wasn’t working i.e. the sauna and steam room was being refurbished. I was absolutely gobsmacked that these facilities were advertised online, it was the reason that I made my booking for that hotel. Otherwise I would’ve booked a different hotel down that had these facilities available. it ruined my entire state and I didn’t even leave my room or even speak to anybody or leave the bed. Never will I ever visit this hotel chain again and I will be very reluctant to make another booking on this site also. For anybody reading this, I suggest you ring up the hotel before making your booking to check all the facilities are available. I feel tricked and misled by this whole experience.
Great hotel, facilities were fabulous. Breakfast was superb
Thought parking was free but we were told this was only at the weekend. However, the charge was waived so all in all a great place to stay if you are aware of parking charges on arrival

The disabled parking bays were blatantly abused by people attending to use the gym making it difficult for disabled residents to park in designated places.
Some of the breakfast ingredients were inedible e.g. the sausages you needed to sharpen your teeth to be able to eat them.
But overall the hotel provided a good quality of service.

It was a last minute stay, as it was Christmas day and we were not eating there we did not have the usual facilities ie no bar or kitchen until later. This was not a problem and I would stay again if I was in the area.

Food good and rooms ok but self check in a pain poor chap trying to service several people at once who all had issues or questions PLEASE PLEASE go back to reception desk a proper check in .

Easy to check in & out, room was clean and had everything we needed, beds very comfortable. Pool and spa facilities were excellent. Food was amazing! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will defiantly be back!
Slightly disappointing that I had to pay extra for parking and extra to use the pool; however the pool was amazing! I like the idea of the self check in, but the machine never recognised me, which meant I needed the receptionist anyway. I’d definitely stay again!

Crap for Vegans.
Poor vegan provision at Breakfast including insufficient serving tongues so non vegans cross contaminated some of the food.
Shame that my meal arrived at the table before the staff could poor a pint. And even after that they then tried to charge me a second time it had been that long. When I stated my meal was cold due to their incompetence at poor ing 1beer, they just shrugged their shoulders and walked off. Apart from the restaurant staff this time everything else was good, please note the £5 to park per night and £5 per person to use the facilities but this is listed.

Although my stay was acceptable, the hotel was unable to supply a VAT receipt. They advised that as the stay was booked via hotels.com, this was not possible. However, when I stay at other hotels booked via hotels.com, this is possible.

The stay was overall good. The only down side was the staff near the gym area. One particular staffvwas only good some people and just kept staring at me and my children

If you like a good swimming pool and extra large TV then this hotel ticks those boxes totally. its location is a little remote for drinking and dining options but the in hotel offer is OK. For getting around the outskirts of greater Manchester and the Peak district it is well located as a touring base.
The only downside is poor access to public transport for getting to the city centre.

Service was 5*, friendly staff and food was very nice. But, we didn't see anywhere before we booked that children are only permitted in the pool during limited set hours. If we'd known we wouldn't have booked and would have stuck with our normal Travelodge. Unfortunately 2 disappointed children makes all the good stuff irrelevant.

Honestly this place is a hidden gem. The room was comfortable and relatively clean(the kettle was a little dusty) but apart from that I was satisfied with the room. Bed was comfy. There is also a good sized swimming pool on site, didn’t get a chance to use it due to time constraints but it looked good. The breakfast was nice it was a buffet style continental and full English. You can order eggs through the staff who will bring it out to you. And my number one perk was that there was a Starbucks inside so you can get a good fix of coffee. I would definitely stay there again.
