The hotel was very clean & modern. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Our family room was spacious & updated. Only negative - the towels were small, worn & thin.
Hotel near the beach (walkable distance). A few dining options possible on the beach.

Rooms were clean m, staff were very welcoming and helpful. The view of the harbour was beautiful, real calm peaceful area. With friendly locals. Will be back
Great hotel location to the Felision cruise terminal. Many of the local shops were closed on Tuesdays which made it difficult to find things. There was a local bus, but we didn't venture to take it since my daughter was embarking on a ship Wednesday morning.
Staff was VERY helpful and friendly.
**I would like to mention that I had asked for help booking transportation to the airport Thursday morning. Hotel staff said that uber may cancel since the hotel was out of the way. They suggested a taxi. I asked approximate price. I was told by hotel staff 45 - 80 euros. It was 115 euros!!!! I feel like a was taken for a fool when I had to pay such a HIGH PRICE at the airport since it was less than 30 minutes away, especially since I asked the hotel for an approximate price while she helped book my taxi ride.
Great place for a short stay by the sea. Popular place for kitesurfing. Private sauna times are very relaxing.

Weekend Break Dutch Grand Prix
Great location for the Dutch Grand Prix. Place was tranquil and quite and well connected with publuc transport. The rooms are dated, service and front desk very good. Nice and tasty breakfast.
We had an excellent stay - despite the hotel being renovated our room was excellent and the staff could not have been better. I would definitely stay there again. The location is perfect for ferry travel.
This was a great stay with family. They had a big kiss playroom with games and toys when it was raining, they let us book a private family session in the sauna which was great and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly. Thank you!
Very nice facility. We had a newly remodeled room that was excellent. Good selection of food and beverage at the cafe with friendly staff. Great location to stay if you need to spend a night befor departing from the cruise port at Ijmuijen. Hotel staff extremely helpful!

The accommodation has been canceled. No dogs allowed. Despite described on Expedia and advance booking
Absolutely fantastic place to stay. The rok.s are fairly basic but an awesome view and the staff were amazing. I cant praise them enough. I have been to so many places where the staff dont realky care. Here they were so attentive and sorted several problems very efficiently. The food in the evening is awesome and i dont say that lightly. Many hotels the food is really bad and getting worse. Here it was great and even though they had a big group in they were still very very good. Thankyou to all the staff especially the guy waiting tables.
The Hotel Leonardo Hotel IJmuiden Seaport Beach was a bit out of the way unless you are leaving from the cruise port. That being said, the staff were all wonderful and accommodating, easy to work with and always with a smile. The waiters and the dining room Manager were friendly and easy to speak to. Everyone was very informed about the area and options available, unfortunately unless you rent a car, there were not many. We only stayed one night, before our cruise departure so we had a lovely relaxing night on the patio overlooking the boat harbor. Our rooms were clean, spacious and well stocked. The walls are thick enough, you cannot hear the neighbors and the included breakfast was wonderful and fresh. We would stay there again any time our cruise leaves from that port.

We waited 4 hours to get our reserved suite. It turned out to be fairly shabby, though clean. And not facing the harbor, but rather, the road. I am certain the photos showed the harbor. The air conditioning doesn't work well. And the glass doors into the bedroom afforded no light protection or privacy. The staff varied between okay and accomodating. Breakfast was excellent. It is convenient to the cruise terminal.

Leonardo hotel is a typical seaside hotel. The lobby is nice and the staff friendly. The rooms are a bit tired and could be cleaner. My ice bucket was dirty and the floor was sandy, clearly not properly cleaned before our arrival. We also did not get daily housekeeping, which is ok, but should have been advised at booking, or from the front desk at checkin. Not much around the area, and no places to eat unless you take transportation to another area. I probably won’t stay here again.
We thought we booked a room with a balcony but upon arrival, there was only one small window that opened. We asked at reception if we could have a room with a balcony as that what the booking stated, to which they replied it wasn’t guaranteed. We then asked if we could upgrade to another room and that was also not possible because the hotel was fully booked. It was a very warm day and we booked an overnight stay by the seaside to enjoy the weather in the evening from said balcony…
The bathroom was jaded, mould between tiles and even some weeds growing out of a hole under the sink tap. Never seen anything like that before. We checked out early and the receptionist didn’t even ask how our stay was.
This is the second time we stayed in this hotel in recent weeks. The first time they checked us in at 15:30 (check-in opens at 15:00), we went up to the room to find it not cleaned so had to go back downstairs and wait until after 16:00. That room was in a better state than this one and it had a balcony so we were happy enough, apart from the messy check-in. But after experiencing yesterday’s situation, we are reluctant to return a third time.
