Great stay, little disappointed to find no jacuzzi but still very lovely relax with the other amenities. Lovely staff .

We paid extra for a room with a balcony overlooking the sea - and so glad we did! The room was spacious with a couple of comfy armchairs we sat in with the doors to the balcony open just soaking up the sound of the sea. These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions ...

This is about Winchelsea not Icklesham! Great place to walk around ~ worth getting a map with different landmarks including Spike Milligan's grave and John Wesley tree. Interesting town buildings and good museum and wine cellar tours open from April.
Winchelsea is delightful even in the rainiest weather!
