Unlike many homes in Idyllwild that are nestled deep in the forest, the Dramatic Geodesic Dome sits on the edge of Crestview Drive, offering sweeping views of the valley and even the ocean on the clearest days. Newly remodeled and now featuring AC and heat, the Dome is set on over 1.5 acres and includes three cozy fireplaces, a 26-foot vaulted ceiling in the living room, and a hot tub ideal for enjoying sunset views. The property backs up to a stunning 40-foot rock formation, with Native American acorn grinding bowls carved into the top—right where the views are best. Watch deer climb the hillside, dine indoors or out, and stargaze under crystal-clear mountain skies. Game Room & Sauna: The game room also serves as a 5th bedroom. For reservations made after July 1st, it’s included automatically. If your stay was booked before July 1st and you’d like access, please request it ahead of time. (Fees may apply to adding the Game room)

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:

Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
This vacation rental is equipped with a mini-split air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January.

- Pets: Dogs are welcome, with a nightly fee per dog. If you plan to bring more than one, prior approval is required and additional fees may apply. For bookings made through third-party sites like Airbnb, the dog fee will be requested separately after your reservation is confirmed.
Other animals: Any pet other than a dog must be approved in advance. A flat fee of up to $500 may apply depending on the type of animal.

-Check-in instructions: On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.

-Parking: Free parking is available for 4 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended).

- County permit number: 001332

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $28 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.
