"Had read some other lackluster reviews, but so glad we stayed at Hotel Victoria. We loved our double superior room with full windows and balcony. The grounds and pool area were well maintained, the room was spotless, the food in the restaurant was excellent, and all the staff were so friendly and attentive. A great way to start our month of travels in Oaxaca! Many thanks!"

"Amazing hotel with excellent staff. The rooms are well appointed and the hotel has outstanding views to the city. The staff is wonderful in all aspects of hospitality! Only 2 draw backs - area around hotel underdeveloped and lots of barking dogs as this hotel sits in residential neighborhood. Steep hill to get to property kept one drivers car from being able to make it and had to take alternate path that added 10 mins. "

"Overall we had a wonderful stay at Casa Utopia. The house was beautiful, clean, pool was great. It is challenging to find and up a dirt road and that wasn’t in the listing. We arrived at dark and it was challenging to find. But the road is dirt and it would have been more helpful to know so we could have brought more supplies.also the listing says a kind bed room with 2 twin beds but there were no twin beds. Humberto quickly brought them. Also it says there is a washing machine in the listing but in order to use it it costs 400 pesos. But overall beautiful home and we enjoyed ourselves. "
