"Location is beautiful but inconvenient as there are no restaurants close by or convenient stores. There were many different types of smells, all unpleasant, as you walk into reception, the bathroom, the hallway and your room. "Very comfortable stay at this newer hotel. We were originally booked in a room with no private bath (must use communal onsen on the top floor for bathing) unbeknownst to us, because the room description was lacking. Our request to change rooms was fortunately accommodated. Overall this hotel occupies a remote and lovely natural setting -- best viewed from the indoor/outdoor onsens on the top floor. "Very nice and cozy place to stay at. The owners are very nice and kind. It was a pleasure to spend the time there. I really enjoyed having a drink with the owner. The place is at the top of a mountain with a beautiful scenery. The place is mostly for ski resort, but I used it to go around the area and visit some local attractions."
